| Researchers, academics, health workers, Department of Health officials, Human Sciences Research Council staff and government representatives met on 10 – 11 May 2007 in Johannesburg to build and reach consensus on the implementation of various areas of South Africa's National Strategic Plan. A follow-up roundtable discussion was held on 5 June 2007 at the 3rd South African AIDS Conference at the International Convention Centre in Durban. The draft was presented and feedback was given. Feedback was then incorporated into the final declaration, which was presented in the closing session of the conference. |
