He is the Director of the Topical Institute of Community Health and Development in Kenya, and the Vice Chancellor of the Great Lakes University of Kisumu. He has also served as the Executive Director for CHAK (Christian Health Association of Kenya), General Secretary of Afri-CAN, and General Director of Community Initiatives Support Services International. He has published over 25 articles and served as a consultant for numerous international institutions and governments in Africa and elsewhere. |
Dan received his medical training from the University of Nairobi, his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health, a Diploma in Christian Studies from the University of British Columbia, and his PhD from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
